On the 27th of March, Future Together is organizing a celebration event under the title “When was the last time. .?” to celebrate its achievements so far. This celebratory event will take the form of a cocktail reception at Château Status, located in Nicosia Buffer Zone at 17.30.
ETEK and KTMMOB, as implementers of Future Together will stress the importance of public participation for future of the island. ETEK and KTMMOB have been working together for more than a year in order to identify current participatory development models in Cyprus and extract lessons from them so that these skills can be transferred to the rest of the island.
Future Together aims to increase citizen participation in decision-making processes, in particular as regards to shared physical spaces, and ultimately, to enable a more inclusive reconciliation process on the island. With this ambitious goal, Future Together is asking “when was the last time you consulted someone before making a decision that would impact them?”
Implemented by ETEK and KTMMOB, and supported by UNDP-ACT through funding from USAID, Future Together will use the event as an opportunity to launch its newest publication and its website with a participatory prize draw. Come and celebrate with us!
