Trainings

As part of the Future Together, the project developed and delivered a series of capacity-building workshops to a wider audience of local practitioners. Interfusion Services Ltd. in the Greek Cypriot Community and Penna Danışmanlık in the Turkish Cypriot Community delivered these trainings. Workshop topics were identified as a result of the research studies that Future Together conducted and were directly related to participatory development.

Over 80 people from both communities and sectors of society took part in these trainings, which targeted not only future trainers, but also civil society at large, the private sector (developers etc.), strategic planners, project managers, project teams and anyone else interested in participatory development approaches. Workshops focused on how participatory approaches could be applied to the entire life cycle of a project: from project design, to implementation and to evaluation.
